Global Tech hubs send their best startups to Silicon Valley

 Blackbox today announced the selected startups for the Blackbox Connect powered by Google for Entrepreneurs scheduled for February 9th-20th 2015 in Palo Alto. The  immersion program for founders based outside the US will bring fifteen exceptional startups to Silicon Valley. All the startups are members of the Google for Entrepreneurs’ global partner network of startup communities.

For the latest edition, three new network partners joined and nominated their best startups for the reputable program. They are; Aging2.0, a global organization accelerating innovation to improve the lives of older adults around the world, Notman House, a tech hub in Montreal and Outbox, a technology startup hub in Kampala, Uganda providing entrepreneurs with workspace, mentorship and training programs.

Other participating partners in the 10th Edition of Blackbox Connect Powered by Google for Entrepreneurs are Fishburners in Australia, P@SHA of Pakistan, Astrolabs of Dubai, Le Camping & NUMA of Paris, KStartup from South Korea, Communitech of Canada, Enterprise Ireland, Campus Tel Aviv and Campus London.

Blackbox announced today the selected 15 companies who will participate in the 10th edition of Blackbox Connect representing fifteen different countries including Australia, Belgium, Canada, Egypt, France, India, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Uganda and United Kingdom.

Blackbox Connect’s tried and proven approach and methodology are designed to create lasting results by empowering innovative founders to grow in their home countries while they also scale globally. The program concludes with the Startup Showcase on February 20th when the founders have the opportunity to pitch and showcase their product to hundreds of invited top venture capitalists, industry leading corporate innovation officers, business development professionals and a community of globally minded tech influencers and reporters.

Cubigo (Belgium): A web-based platform to help elderly people age successfully in their own environment

DeltaX (India): Cross Channel digital marketing platform that gives a marketer comprehensive and transparent view of their advertising budgets.

DraftingSPACE (Canada): Automating architectural design process by instantly creating construction-ready design layouts for remodeling and new construction projects

Edfa3ly (Egypt): The leading cross-border e-commerce company in MENA with cost effective delivery and payment logistics solutions for the region.

FanFootage (UK/Ireland): Fan-sourced event video platform for live music and sports event

Fezah (Uganda): A marketplace for performing artists and venues in Africa

Korbit (South Korea): Korea's leading Bitcoin exchange, wallet & merchant processor

Lime Rocket (Australia): Engaging crowd games for live audiences at public places

Mini Exchange (UK/UAE): The Middle East's Online Marketplace for Kids' Fashion

Smiirl (France): Closing the gap between small businesses physical and digital identities/Grow your social community from your store

Symanta (Canada): Semantic search and graph database management systems for life science/healthcare management providers and pharmaceutical industries

Vainpursuits (Canada): A digital skin care platform that provides personalised skin care advice and customized natural beauty products

WeKast (Israel): Instant wireless presentation from your phone to any TV or projector allowing audience to capture content and interact with presenter


Blackbox is a committed to empowering women entrepreneurs and a role model partner of  #40Forwardinitiative to increase the representation of female founders in their startup communities. Out of the 15 selected companies, 7 are co-founded by women.
